Participation Circles of Giving

The culture of philanthropy at Charles Wright Academy is one that embraces our community’s commitment to supporting the school not only for future generations of Tarriers, but also for current students and families. The Fund for Charles Wright Academy focuses on this latter component of giving, providing immediate funds during the given operating year to meet program needs in academics, arts, athletics, faculty salaries, and so much more.

Our goal for the Fund for CWA is to increase the flexible resources available to school leaders and teachers throughout the year, providing relief to the operating budget. The Fund for CWA is our school’s number one fund-raising priority. Gifts to The Fund for CWA help to lessen the school’s reliance upon tuition while maintaining and strengthening our school’s incredible educational programming for students—which includes our ability to hire and support the best teachers and to offer an exceptional program including opportunities for Tarriers to explore the visual and performing arts, athletics, world languages, music, the great outdoors, scientific research, and global travel.

We wish to extend our sincerest thanks to the following donors who made gifts to the Fund for Charles Wright Academy between July 1, 2015, and June 30, 2016. Your generosity allowed for $463,264 to be immediately invested in the CWA experience for students and teachers during the last academic year.

Contributors whose gifts were received after June 30, 2016, will be acknowledged in the 2016-2017 Annual Report.
